It is with deep sorrow that I have learned about friends and colleagues who have suffered through covid-19. My sincere condolences to the families.
-
Stay safe! Today, in 2025, we continue to look at stats of Covid-19, that is, we are far away from victory. We need to have patience and learn resilience.

- March 2025
I want us to remember that
ChinaConnection2018 had
a very successful Summer 2019 program.
A heartfelt Thank You to all
who participated.
We did NOT go
the years from 2020 to 2024. As there were still surges; and we, here in Canada, are far from being Covid-19 free!
We are, however, in contact with Nanjing thinking of various ways we might want to deliver a program this year in 2025. So feel free to contact Eleanor for up-dates for 2025.
There is NO application process right now. I shall update the site as new information becomes available.
Write to Eleanor to get further information on the application form for 2025.

Through ChinaConnection2018 you could have a cultural exchange with Chinese teachers in China in the province of Jiangsu for 2 or 4 weeks if/when the pandemic is officially considered over.
Selected educators will prepare their curriculum to help Chinese teachers, for example, to improve their English listening and speaking skills, or highlight instructional methodologies in other subject areas from Kindergarten to grade 12.
Many of the participants with ChinaConnection2018 have come from Ontario, but teachers from other jurisdictions are welcome to apply. Over the past decade, the group has included educators from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Quebec, New Brunswick, California, Missouri, Wisconsin, Texas, Australia and Ireland.
